French Stripe Blue Chambray, 100% Cotton Place mats

This is a lovely set of place mats for summer dinner parties. I also bought a tablecloth that these will highlight perfectly (that's for another post).

These are very generous sized place mats, and will do very nicely for a large table. Good for outdoor dining as well.

These are 100% cotton. So expect to have ton do some maintenance. They will need to be washed in cold water, and if you choose to use a dryer, make sure you use a cool setting so as not to shrink. Spills will need to be handled quickly to prevent them from setting in immediately. I purchased a can of stain resistance liquid that you spray on the items with, and this gives you some lee way with spills and stains. These will need to be starched and pressed to keep a crisp look. But, again, these are truly lovely. I gain see the table set with a sailcloth tablecloth, hurricane lanterns with brightly burning candles, perhaps a large platter of basket filled with seashells as a centerpiece, and crystal goblets, with blue dinner plates or chargers. Doesn't that sound lovely?
